The things you see, watch, read, think about, believe, eat and drink all contribute to the vibrational energy that you give off to the universe.
The things you expose yourself to are what you invite into your reality. For example, if you choose to spend your time around people who make you nervous, you become nervous.
If you choose to spend your time with people who are confident, who encourage you to be the best version of yourself and who back who you are and what you do – you become more confident you want to spent time improving yourself and improving your life.
When you watch, read or listen to something – is it something that is helping you grow or achieve your goals or is it purely for entertainment? Perhaps you don’t even know the reason you are watching it – you are just watching it because it is on. Do you put the TV on for 'background' noise?
Subconsciously you are consuming the messages that are being sent out – through the vibrations in the energy around you – especially the news. When was the last time you heard an amazing, wonderful story on the news?
Are you aware that what you are watching and listening to has a direct effect on nerve pathways in your brain and how nerves fire. They are making stronger connections to things you have consumed in the past. For example – have you ever heard the saying – money is the root of all evil? Perhaps you heard it from your parents or grandparents, then you heard it on the television, then you see on a movie or TV show that its always the Villans who are the ones with all the money!
The media has a direct effect on the things we believe and the stories we tell ourselves. If our parents, grandparents, the media and the things we watch on TV are telling us a particular story, then why shouldn't we believe that story.
Because often these stories don't serve us or no longer serve us, even though once they may have.
The shows you watch on TV, the podcasts you listen to, the books you read. All have a direct impact on the nervous pathways made up in your brain the ability of these pathways to be strengthened.
Is what are you watching, listening to, reading and who you are spending time with helping you to move forward?
Are you 'wasting' your life consuming negative messages that aren't serving you anymore?
Are you wanting to be more, do more and have more?
It starts with you and its starts NOW.
